Thanks to all the nice folks in Sinton and the Butter Churn Cafe. We ate there before the game and the food was great. A person can really hurt themselfs in that place. Wow!!!:clap: :D :2thumbsup

No joke, I've done serious damage to myself several times in that place. Definitely great food and decent prices. We've even had a 3ADL meet and greet there before.

Somehow I missed this Necks but sometimes fans including ours in the past let emotions get the better of them so we understand when sometimes poor judgement is used. . I can assure you that I have never heard of any of our players faking an injury and our coach wouldn't put up with it. Also Sinton is a small town and if this was going on it would eventually get out and that is something that I am proud to say never has.
But this doesn't mar what great fans you have.

I am not saying a coach told him, or coaches that. That may just be a case of a kid being aware of the game and what is going on, and having the presence of mind on what he could do to help his team and coaches.

Not that it matters NOW, but he wasn't faking. He had hurt himself earlier in the game. There were a lot of banged up players, from both teams that night.

There were a few that I noticed haven't been back. But in this case their silence speaks volumes. I had a few people tell me how much crow I was going to have to eat....haven't heard from them yet.

I used nothing but salt and pepper per side, and mesquite wood to cook it. It was pretty good.
It's a very lean, red meat that takes to the smoke well. Kinda tastes like something between ostrich and Angus beef. And that's a stretch. It does have it's own flavor. We enjoyed the heck out of it.

We were in the final 4 in basketball 3 of my 4 years in high school. And jack murray won state in the mile in 94. I think he did pretty good in the 2 mile at the state meet too. Not sure if he medaled tho
