u make a good point..but it can be flawed...look at Texas...their schedule is nowhere near that of VT's...but does that automatically make VT a better team? Sweetwater, Wylie, and Snyder cant help it if all of region one is by avg. weaker than other regions....i mean.,.....think of basketball....canyon girls, 90% of the teams they play wouldnt "do good" against other regions, but yet Canyon Girls basketball is one of nthe top in the nation....

i am stuck deciding on merkel, wf hirschi, and snyder...cuz snyder was the preseason favorite in Scurry County...so it's a tough call!

I would say the winner of the Barbers Hill vs WO-S Division I and also the winner of the Jasper vs Bridge City second round game--Division II.
These four teams have as good a chance as any at this point in time.

I really believe that Rice Consolidated can win State, but they will have to keep their heads on straight. Right now, they are flying under the radar at 9-0 overall and 4-0 in district. If they beat Bellville Friday night, they have as much of a chance to wn State as anyone else.
