I totally hear ya. This team is a little different than any team I can remember in recent memory. I know its a reflection of our HC, but I also think its a reflection of our OC and DC. Our staff is better now than its been in a while. Also, our kids dont flench, dont panic, and dont back down.

You sure can't simulate how fast everything happens in that offense. I'm a big fan of Liberty Hill--- they do 1 thing and they do it very well. Sandifer told us that when they won state in 06 and 07, they threw the ball 10 times total for the 2 yrs. They've already thrown it 10 times this year in 4 games. Really airing it out!!!

I went we set on the Brownwood side. It could have been a lot worse than it was. Brownwood failed to capitalize on the 1st 3 possessions. They came away with 5 points. The wood will not be able to do that next week against Wylie. I think Brownwood will win at home. Alvarado still wins both games if played today.:taunt:

Better team did win. Brownwood executed when it mattered most. Jackets 2015 version is down for Stephenville standards. It is what it is. It won't be long though. Still plenty of football this season and the future looks bright.

Live in Stephenville for 20 years and have two kids, one a Freshman and the other a 6th grader. Both who are very involved in the district and love it. What you say is correct. The game couldve also been much different if we cash in all the opportunities in the 1st qtr. It easily couldve been 23-0 at the end of the 1st. But your defense stood up and fought as hard as they could and impacted the game, just like our did. The better team seized control of the game and didnt look back. That is generally how it works.

False....the naming of the town was just a ploy to get unsuspecting folks to move there....kinda like Greenland. It was named to make people think it was green and fruitful, when in reality, it has more ice and is colder than Iceland......true story.

Sweetwater = Brownwater....but they wanted to distinguish themselves from their bigger and much more handsome big brother, Brownwood, so they kept 'Brown' out of the name.....so, Sweetwater was the best they could come up with...
