D1 prospects (especially OL) have the physical tools that give them a good chance to compete at the D1 level, that doesn't make them better high school players than D2 prospects and/or really good high school football players.......there are D1 commits from losing teams in 3A this year......an OL from winless Needville comes to mind. Key players that help top ranked college teams win big time bowl games go undrafted and never make it to camp, or if they do. don't make it to the practice squad in the pros. Heisman winners are a bust in the NFL more times than not.......the Texans have some potential D1 and D2 prospects as well, but more importantly they also have really good high school football players across the board that play with heart "for each other" and will find a way to win. That strong team aspect, the long time experience of the coaching staff, the strong community support(which really does mean something in 3A).......and they aren't bandwagon fans, Wimberley has been represented on this board better than any other team from the pre-season.....all point to the Texan's destiny this season. That destiny is the State Championship these young men have been focused on since they were playing junior high ball. You can't change destiny.
When both teams are evenly matched, D1 players can make a difference and we aren't talking about NFL players or Heisman winners - this is high school.. Also, both teams have "heart," community support, strong coaching, etc. or they wouldn't be here so that won't make you win. This game is in Argyle's backyard and we will have strong north Texas support as well. Destiny? You write your own destiny. One team does that in 7 hours.
Go Eagles!

I like stats! I don't know why people are hating on them. Plus, I haven't seen any stats as to why Wimberley will win, so I like them even more ;)

This is the one thing about the central location that is unfair. I happened to look this up the other day. Argyle is 33.5 miles from Cowboys Stadium. Wimberley was 244 or so, IIRC. I heard the broadcasters on Fox yesterday talk about how "everyone" has now bought in to the central location concept. Mark me down as one who has not, unless they agree to move the central location around every few years.
This shouldn't be a deciding factor in the game, though, as both fan bases will travel well, I'm sure.
Logically, this game would have been played in Waco before the Cowboys Stadium deal was struck.

Because Chapel Hill is not located anywhere near Gilmer, Henderson, or Carthage.
Chapell Hill is 25 miles down hwy 64 from Henderson. Carthage , Henderson, and Chapell Hill are in a straight line. The district next year could have all three plus Tatum and Kilgore. That would be murders row if ever I saw one.

Congrats Wimberley on a 21-14 Victory! Great team and year. Same for Argyle. Argyle lost a couple of key players, but played hard to the very end. Wimberley's big plays and big players were the difference. Blakemore was playing both ways and had the interception at the end of the game to seal the win and get defensive MVP honors.
Great game!

I'm back for my crow and to say, first of all, congratulations to the Wimberley Texas on an undefeated season capped off with a 3A Division II State Championship. It was a great game and I was very impressed by Trinity Wilson and Dennis Smith - both are great players. And Brennen Blakemore's interception at the end of that game was an absolutely amazing interception; wow, what a grab! Both defenses came to play in this game and Wimberley did a good job of containing and SACKING Austin Aune.
Second of all, I am a proud alumni of the Argyle Eagles. I am disappointed that Wimberley did not get to see #5 Ian Sadler play; he tore his ACL on our first drive. I wish he could have been out there to try to help us win. That play on the goal line when Argyle had the ball at the 1 and fumbled through the back of the end zone was an absolute killer. Also, not being able to recover any of the balls that Wimberley put on the ground didn't help.
Again, congratulations to Wimberley on the state championship. What a game!

WOW...TEXANS...one last time this team showed tremendous heart. I can see why Argyle has been so successful. What a physical defensive front and linebacking corp!!! And what a physical offensive line. Argyle could have easily won the game but it was not their night. They lost a key player in Ian Sadler fairly early in the game and their QB was reportedly battling the flu. He still played well. The Texans just dug in and scratched and clawed and came up with the big plays. BIG OLD SLOW CLAP for Texans defense. Smith, Blakemore, Mann, Kelley, Wilson played both ways much of the night. Smith was a beast as a RB and a receiver. Trint Wilson got the edge, which the Texans coaches had been working on all week in practice. "We are not cutting it up this week Dennis...run outside!!!" Fitting that it was Trinity Wilson, a true warrior, that broke the long run with a great cerebral set up block by Blakemore. Brady Lambert the Texans' QB has played with a cracked rib since the 2nd round of the playoffs at least. He made some beautiful passes. The pass to Smith for the TD was awesome as was the pass to Blakemore in the 1st Qtr. Blakemore tried to accelerate just a split second before pulling ball in as he saw the end zone. I can count the times I have seen that kid drop a pass on half of one hand and that is since the 3rd grade. His particular skills were later on full display with the game clinching one-handed interception. When I saw that the receiver appeared open I noted that Brennen was coming on the run and tracking the ball. I could see he was going to get there. Awesome play on the biggest stage especially after the dropped TD in 1st QTR. Of course, Argyle lost out on 4 points with a drop and later a TD on an overthrow to a wide open receiver in the first half. Finally, a brutal fumble as the RB was trying to go in for the score. Wimberley forced 2 such fumbles on the 1-yard line in successive weeks. Maybe Manso was right about that destiny thing.
The Texans defense hung in like grimm death! Kudos to a defensive line that was considerably undersized. How about starting tackle Blake Guidry at 180 pounnds or DE Colton Fonville at 175 lb soaking wet. Connor Kothman, Kolby Kelley, Triston Moore, Jackson King and Riley Oldmixon deserve a ton of credit. Or 180 lb Alden Mann #52 who played both ways at LB and LG. Did you see the size of those Argyle linemen and linebackers. I just love the way Alden Mann plays football. Early in game Texans got some pressure on Aune logging 1 sack for sure by Kolby Kelley. Blake Guidry also tackled Aune behind the line in the 2nd half but it appeared to be a QB draw so I am not sure how that would be scored. BUt he had to throw balls away several times. He also broke some amazing plays by avoiding pressure and throwing down field. Aune is extremely impressive. Everyone knew that. I will say that late in game he was a handful. The Texans were sooooo tired looking in 4th but they just keep scrapping. The secondary hung in there even though they certainly gave up some yards. Nonetheless, they provided some coverage...obviously.Smith and Blakemore played a lot in the secondary and they are difference making athletes. Jones, Davis and Holliman also hung tough. They had good coverage often but Aune is a nightmare at extending plays. Finally...the Texans coaches deserve a ton of credit. They had the team ready to play and had good schemes.
Argyle's linebackers were impressive. Those guys were awesome at taking on blocks and making plays. They were big, strong and physical. I was soooo impressed with them. 43 and 44 are great ballers. 53 on the D-line was also a man!!
I have to give great credit to the O-line. They have been called a work in progress all year as they had only returned 1 starter. B-Rad Rodriguez, David Carillo, Christian Heatley, Alden Mann, and Taylor Robertson have hung in and battled all year. Finally, special teams did not give up any big plays and in fact punished kick returners all night. Both teams were hitting like crazy.
WAY TO GO TEXANS and congrats to Argyle on a great season. They were good enough to come out on top but it did not happen this day. CODE RED WORTHY INDEED!! :2thumbsup
Congrats to these kids. Region IV rides again!!!!!!!!!

No eating of crow needed. You were a great poster with well-reasoned and respectful comments. Argyle was not far off from winning the game. Two good teams and it came down to lots of fighting and clawing and hitting...sheesh...and a few big plays. More of those plays went Wimberley's way on this day.
Argyle is a class act. And it appeared to me that both teams showed sportsmanship and respect to each other. Losing a great player is a tough deal.

We will not accept your "crow". You never said anything that deserved crow, now that we know the results. This game....wow....this game could have gone either way. We drop a sure TD pass...you fumble into the end zone on a sure TD run...you eat us up on passing 8 yards at a time...we score big on a long pass play and a long run. Tit-for-tat. Punch-counterpunch. I am personally honored to say we played Argyle toe-to-toe. If we played 10 games, I bet the results would be 5-5.
However, someone had to win tonight, and it was Wimberley. It could have gone the other way just as easily, but it didnt. Hug your boys...encourage them to keep their heads up high. They are a fine crew of future leaders, and we will remember this game, and hope to meet you again soon.
As far as the Texans....WOW!!!! Fight...never quit...always pursue. It has paid off! Congrats Coach Nelms, now officially a Wimberely legend. Congrats to Blakemore, a true athlete and competitor. And to Smith...congrats!! After battling injuries and other challenges, you have shown us all that you have what it takes to move to the next level in your life and be an honorable and proud adult. Keep your lessons learned in WHS close to your heart...it will serve you well in your life!!!

Wow! What an exciting game. Congratulations to the Wimberley players and coaches for fulfilling their destiny. What a great team effort. Argyle came out strong with a very impressive offense, taking chunks of yardage.......it had me a bit concerned. Once the Texans were able to step up and hold Argyle to a field goal, I knew that once again they would once again find a way to win. Plenty of kudos are warranted to the playmakers we all know by name, the real heroes are those just really good football players on the Texan DL and OL that found a way to compete with the Argyle horses. It has been a great story and fun to follow week by week. The final chapter turned out as expected. Did I mention it was their destiny?
Congratulations to Argyle on a fine effort and a tremendous season. Argyle was impressive and a class act. Austin Aune is the real deal and we can all look forward to seeing him play on Saturdays. He is the best HS quarterback I have seen play all year. Very sad that Ian Sadler was injured early in the game. I read in a previous post that it was his ACL. If so, that is serious injury. Thank God for medical advancements, talented surgeons, and rehab specialists. I wish him a speedy and full recovery and expect he will come back better and stronger than before.
Texas High School Football is a wonderful thing.

Nice job Wimberley. Good to see this group stay healthy and make it all the way. CONGRATULATIONS STATE CHAMPIONS!
As mentioned time to time on this board...it takes some luck to win a State Championship along with all the hard work, dedication and talent. Wimberley had a QB playing with a cracked rib through most of the playoffs. My son told me that he saw him parking his rather distinctive truck down the road at a store while he walked to the Physical Therapy office. He did not want anyone to know. I also saw LB/TE Niko Alana go down with seemingly a knee injury at the end of the half in the Coldspring game after losing the playoffs last year due to a knee injury that required major surgery and rehab and then he had an injury to the opposite knee in a scrimmage that kept him out early. A few plays laterin CS game, Brennen Blakemore made a sliding tackle where he had to extend his right arm to trip up DB that had intercepted a pass and absolutely would have scored if he got by Brennen. It was a truly amazing and quietly one of the bigger plays in the playoffs and not many athletes could have pulled it off. However, he came up with a dead arm on the side that he had torn his pectoral muscle in the 7th game of season. It looked grimm as they went to half with a 7-6 lead but both Alana and Blakemore, two spiritual leaders of the team, came out and played in the 2nd half and of course this week. Niko Alana was the guy (#24) that they kept showing close ups on the big screen at Jerry world with blood from the bridge of his nose, war paint, and sweat pouring out. What a classic portrait of an inside linebacker. All of our playmakers got to play tonight with the exception of Josh Gray, a senior safety that had played all 15 games last year on a state semi-final team. He went down in 4th game of season with leg fracture against Sealy. He was tough as a boot and a player that was missed. Jones filled in ably for the rest of season and was instrumental in the team's run to the playoffs and to SC. Actually, this was Gray's first game back as he did hold for extra points despite the limitations of his leg. My point is that the Texans got away healthy in the end for the most part. It would have been tough to lose any of their great players during the game like Argyle did. I was surprised more people were not hurt. I saw impact players on both sides in Kelley and Chad Bosson go down with cramps in an indoor stadium. It showed the effort and hitting that was going on. It was an exhausting game. Well done on both side.

Just got home. Prayers go out to Argyle's Sadler. I did not realize or know what happened at the game. We know all too well about the injuries, don't we Texan fans.
Curious, just how hot was it down on the playing field? Odd time of the year for so many cramps. Should have had the roof open.
Wimberley Texans, State Champs once again. So very happy for those young men. I just don't have the words.

I don't know if you can say Wimberley played great, but the Texans won this game because the two units I was most worried about -- O-line and secondary -- stepped up their game big-time. The secondary was especially good, not giving up any big plays and playing bend-but-don't break to a tee. Never doubt the game planning abilities of Dick Smith!
So proud of the kids; so happy for the coaching staff!
Anybody want to comment on the officiating? They were giving both teams a big green light to hold all game. I know you want to let the kids play in a game like this, but I thought it was kind of over the top.
Finally, let me share what I thought was the greatest news of the week in Wimberley...
One of my daughter's best friends found out last spring that she has juvenile diabetes. Since then, she has been having to carry around needles and give herself insulin shots every day. Thursday, several teachers pulled her out of class to give her a Christmas present -- the teachers had taken up a collection and came up with enough money to buy her an insulin pump. No more needles.
I am sooooooooooooo proud to live in Wimberley.

Congratulations to the Texans on winning the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! The players, coaching staff, cheer squads, bands, parents, the loud and proud student section, and all of the fans, you have all showed yourselves to be a true class act throughout the journey. Thanks for making room on the bandwagon for proud new members of the Wimberley community.
The one thing that I really enjoyed the most about watching the Texans this year was how quickly they swarmed to he ball and how hard they hit when they got there. Yet they were always quick to help the tackled player up and they were quick to give credit to the accomplishments of the other teams and their players. Way to play and win with respect and class.
I also loved the roller coaster in the student section through the playoffs. Very creative.
Congratulations to the Argyle Eagles on a great season and keep your heads up because you are an outstanding team.
THIS!.....so very well said.

Congrats Wimberley Texans on a great season and finished it off with a state tilte :)
Watching that game i didn't see how either team was going to score as both defenses were quick and controlling the line of scrimmage for most of the game. When there was a breakdown it usually led to a td.
WTG Texans, well deserved.

Wimberley had a QB playing with a cracked rib through most of the playoffs. My son told me that he saw him parking his rather distinctive truck down the road at a store while he walked to the Physical Therapy office. He did not want anyone to know.
A couple of weeks ago I took offense to a Devine fan who said Devine would beat us because their kids wanted to win the game more than our kids.
Stuff like this is why I took offense.

I think there was one holding call the whole game (Argyle on Blakemore). The only reason they called that was because his jersy was pulled off of his shoulder pad. You could tell Nelms was a little irritated (halftime interview) when they questioned him about Blakemore and how Argyle was defensing him. He was prophetic with his reply.
Great story about the young lady.

This very easily could be Argyle celebrating a SC but the Texans were destined to win! Argyle QB throwing up with flu symptoms! Another fumble on the one yd line! Texans just played with a lot more intensity! Just watched the game for the second time and the Texans were not going to be denied!

Mistake #1 is underestimating how good Gilmer was in the 1st place. I've watched 5 full games of you guys, and you haven't played anyone even close to Gilmer.
But you keep all that confidence and sarcasm you got moving full steam ahead. It'll be fun to watch it fade away.
Well...to be sure...there was some confidence fading away in Cowboys Stadium! However, my confidence that the Texans could maybe make a game of it due various issues related to both teams only grew as the game progressed!!! Sarcasm still in tact as well

So, you've watched 1 Argyle game and formed your opinion. Well I have watched 5 Wimberley games and they look pretty good, but I wouldn't call it great. You've played very one dimensional teams. I don't need a bunch of your ridiculous stats and analysis that are repetitive and starting to get boring to see that it's real easy to load the box and stop the run, although Taylor crammed it down your throat. After watching your games, you guys have some good players no doubt about it, but I can tell you, with confidence, that any of our last 3 playoff opponents could have beaten you. I don't feel the same about your playoff opponents chances against us. But hey, we gonna find out in about 16 hours. So put your notepad, calculator, and thesaurus away and get ready for the game. You guys have a safe trip up this way, especially if the weather is bad.
Whew...good game...intense game...and two great (not "pretty good") teams with some great (not good players) on BOTH teams!!! I actually agree with you that the 3 playoff opponents you referenced COULD have beaten Wimberley and I never ever said any different. I just said I thought that we COULD play with them and possibly with Argyle as well. Turns out Wimberley defense was legit and the Wimberley playmakers had some big plays in them.
Argyle is a great team and COULD definitely win that game on another day. For a variety of reasons it was Wimberley's day yesterday!

Just watched the replay closely. Wimberley wore down Argyle in this game...especially Argyle's skill players. Watch the replay and you'll see what I mean. Hard hitting and relentless defense did it. Just wore them down. (not so much their lines, which pushed us around pretty well). We had too many weapons.

No. If you get to Austin Aune, you will win. You will have to sack him a couple times and get him to throw a couple picks. If you do not, we will score 30+ points and win.
Turned out that ADK was on point...I think Wimberley had a couple of sacks, several pressures, and a couple of picks. Of course Argyle was missing a speed receiver and impact player.

Kolby Kelley sacked him on a sprint out pass play I am pretty sure. Maybe he got rid of it. Blake Guidry did take him down but I think you are right that it was a QB draw that got stuffed and he tried to get outside.

What a game!!!!! Absolute thriller between two evenly matched teams.
Congrats to The State Champions Wimberley Texans on a well played and hard hitting game. Congrats to the Argyle Eagles on a fine season and a great down to the wire game also!
With the injuries to both teams this season and game, this game produced enough highlights as predicted to fill a vault. Neither team gave an inch, every yard was earned! As I said before, there would be a winner, but no losers! I would sure like to see this game played again next weekend. I personally could not be prouder of the kids who stepped up and enabled their teams to be competative, it was certainly a team effort.

Well boys, prediction time is here. After reading everything here, and in previous weeks thruout the season, and garnering all the info I can on Wimberley without actually seeing them play, I would have to say they will be the most talented team Argyle will play this year. Maybe not the most physical, but very althletic and capable. The match-up is a total draw when all is said and done. I'm a homer, but even if I wasn't, I would still pick Argyle in a tight one because of Austin Aune and the recieving corp. And the Argyle O-line makes Aune a better qb. I have nothing negative to say about Wimberley whatsoever. Here's my predicition: ARGYLE EAGLES 39 WIMBERLEY TEXANS 34

Got back from Metroplex today and watched game I had DVR'ed. What a great invention. I just wanted to talk briefly about two really big plays. The "SNAG" and the game clinching 1st down run by Kolby Kelley. First, on the Blakemore interception, here is how it unfolded...Kolby Kelley was playing stand up defensive end on the right side of Texans defense, which matched him up against Argyle's best lineman. Kolby Kelley got a great jump on Keenan up the field and then lowered his inside shoulder and turned the corner with power to force Aune to step up in the pocket or be sacked. Blake Guidry (left DT) and Connor Kothman (right DT) ran a crossing stunt. Guidry looped around to be be stuffed in middle and then got double teamed from inside. However, Aune could not step up to throw so he slid to his left and turned back to throw down field. At that point Guidry spun off of the block and cut off Aune forcing him to side step back to his right to let the O-lineman ride Guidry just past him. Aune then saw Bossow break deep and stepped up to make the throw. However, at that time the Left DE, Colton Fonville, was coming full speed down the heel line making Aune release it just a hair quicker than desired and possibly taking just a little off throw that Blakemore then tracked beautifully and the rest they say is history!!!! Slow clap for those D-linemen applying pressure at that point in game. Especially Kelley who had played a lot at FB.
On the final running play for the final first down. Kolby Kelley followed Dennis Smith into the hole from right to left. LG David Carillo doubled team the nose guard with center Christian Heatley and LT Brad Rodriguez sealed off the DE. Dennis Smith saw ILB submarining and just pushed him into ground. The other ILB, Bossow, who was a beast all night, was moving to fill the hole when RG Alden Mann (2-way player) used his quickness to move to his left and throw a diving cut block at the ILB's ankle that took him off his feet and allowed Kolby Kelley to hurdle the other submarining ILB and pick up game clinching 1st down.
I just thought that I would give a little love to some of the guys that do the dirty work. Hunter Burttschell had a good game punting the ball. A combination of his good punting and excellent punt coverage by guys like Cade Davis, Wes Lambert, and Kyle Terreo really helped the Texans with the field position battle all game. Same can be said for kick coverage team. Bryce Rainwater, Tug McRoberts, Cade Davis, and Wes Lambert are a few of these players that stood out.

Yeah, I mentioned to my wife how I thought that was Burttschell's best game punting for the year. Special team coverage was outstanding as told in the stats posted earlier. So important in a game of this magnitude. I believe I mentioned earlier in the year how Kelley would be a major factor as the year progressed. We needed all of them to contribute. We were not disappointed. That O-line came a long way from the Lehman/Marble Falls scrimmage when most of us were highly critical of their play.

Nice evaluation Shack. He had to adjust multiple times during "The Snag" play and ultimately could not really plant his feet due to being hurried. I found this post on Smoakey.com ,more Argyle posters.
"Congrats are once again and without a doubt in order to Wimberley and to Rb585, Wimbo, and LoveShack, as I have often expressed the value of giving credit where credit is due! Great job Wimberley, and congrats on your second championship! And to the young man who made this interception, enjoy a lifetime of great well deserved memories! Great play, great effort, great athleticism, and great memories indeed!: "
This poster had a little fun jabbing at us 3A downlower's in posts before the game. And to be fair, he was pretty dang funny about it. Clear that Argyle is a class act and probably a pretty darn neat place to live.
A couple of other players that should get some recognition for Argyle were #8 Pucciarello and #33 Manos. That #8 COULD really hit as a DB!!!!! Oy!!! Manos also made a lot of nice plays and was quite physical. As a unit they did a great job of taking Blakemore away. Although Blakemore did drop a probable TD and was going to be open on the out and up. However, Lambert could not set his feet to throw due to good pressure and underthrew pass. However, that is all part of slowing down passing attack. These kids were physical and FSS showed several away from the play type clips at end of game that showed the physicality Blakemore had to deal with the entire game.
Of course...their schemes also resulted in man coverage on Dennis Smith on the edge and he was just too physical at least on one play. I suspect it also had something to do with WHS being able to hit some big runs.

I agree with you Tejas, that was a great video clip. Yall did it with class. I was especially impressed with Coach Nelm's comments and demeanor. What a great thing for the team, school, fans, and town. Thanks to all the Wimberley posters for sharing the insight, analysis, and emotion on 3ADL during the season. It made me a fan, and allowed me to enjoy a small taste of the success and joy from what Wimberley accomplished. I may have picked at and annoyed yall a few times during the season, but those comments were intended to be in good fun and I never wanted yall to drop out, because the story of your season was too good (how 'bout that Taylor scare!). It was like reading a chapter of a good book each week. It is a great thing to see a team or any group, set an aggressive goal, put the work in to accomplish it, make the adjustments along the way, and finally accomplish that goal. That is a memory and a lesson that the players will carry with them the rest of their lives.
Yall really played a great team game across the board in the SC and I was really impressed with some of your playmakers. The leadership and poise shown by Lambert, Wilson carrying the rock and getting the edge on that TD run, Dennis Smith coming up with multiple key stops, his bruising runs, and that TD reception, and of course Blakemoore's unbelievable effort and athleticism on the "snag" keep running through my mind. I hope those players get to compete at the next level (or the "college carpet" as I like to call it) be it D1, D2. or other.....if that is what they want. The return of Dennis Smith story has really been impressive, not just for what he has been able to accomplish, but the support of the team and the community. He has the tools to play at a high level and I hope the maturity and talent he displayed during the playoff run rejuvenates his D1 recruitment.
Let me know if yall post the entire game online or have a DVD copy of the final game you could share, I would love to watch it again.
Congratulations again.

Hey...your posts were outstanding and especially when you were having a little fun!!! You actually helped the cause with your "Code Pink" teasing before the Gonzlaes games as my son later showed me a facebook post from one of the players with a copy of some comments about the "Code Pink" label...it fired them up!! I personally thought it was a CLASSIC, good natured jab and loved it. Some of the creativity on this board is what makes it the most fun. I was hopeful the Texans could pull of win because I knew that Coldspring had beaten a very good team in 9-1 Bellville. Merry Christmas.

Sorry about this late posting, but after the game my son and I had some plans and were out of pocket until today. What a great game for both teams. I was on the Argyle side on the 50 yd line 8 rows up at field level on the aisle with my son. What a great stadium and great view of the game. Very tenaciously fought game from both sides of the ball. Congratulations to the Wimberley Texans on their win and State Championship. Just would have liked to have seen Aune at full health and Sadler, too. Aune played the entire game with the flu that he contracted on Wednesday, and you know what happened to Sadler. I could see the team doctors checking him thoroughly as he lay on the bench. Big time player will be back. If Blakemore doesn't get that one-handed immaculate interception with less than 2 mins. left, I believe our man Bossow would have made the reception and perhaps taken it deep downfield for a thrilling climax. Wimberley's defense stood to the task, Argyle's offense was a little short-handed, and the ball didn't bounce our way. Still, just a great game between two fine teams that displayed all the determination and grit from the players that a championship game deserves. Some BIG plays both offensively and defensely from both sides, and the big one right at the end to seal the season for Wimberley. Just a set of circumstances for Argyle in this one that made it end up like it did. Wimberley had much to do with that result, and earned the victory on the field like a true champion. Aune had a fine high school career, and has nothing to feel badly about. It's been a real pleasure and a special time for me this year on here following all the contenders. Wimbo and the rest of you Texans out there, I just know you must be so proud of your team and your entire town for coming together for a championship season that you could all share and remember. Isn't Texas high school football just terrific!!! I just can't wait for next year. Everyone enjoy your Holidays, and remember to give thanks for just being alive in these flesh bodies. AMEN.

Good to hear from you Regal. Yes, it was a tremendous battle, and only a couple plays determined the outcome. Argyle is a class act, I saw lots of similarities between us two. We had a blast here on the board, and I am personally happy to have met you here. Good luck to you and yours, and here's to a chance we meet again!!!!
