    Good show, fellas.

For what it's worth, Z Jackson was out with an injury last week for Paris. He would've made a difference, but not a 34-point difference. Celina put on a defensive clinic against the Wildcats. Going to take a completely different type of effort from the Bobcats this week against Melissa.

Also, for your informational purposes, Celina has not started a game this season with the same five starting offensive linemen. Our best lineman is out until probably the playoffs, and apart from him, we've been plagued along the line with different injuries that have kept guys out for a game, half game, etc. Had to move guys around to different spots, and it's made it tough on the offense, especially early on in the year. But those big boys have worked their tails off and are really starting to gel, not to mention, the cycling in of younger guys has given the Bobcats a good amount of depth along the offensive front moving forward.

Great description of the Stredick runs. He's been doing exactly that against the Ricebirds for what seems like 9 years. Princeton will be getting a goodun.

Stink on stink , low man wins = Ricebird football.

To understand the El Campo - Brazosport game you only need a closer look at the EC - Needville game. Already a young team the Ricebirds went into the game just having lost a starting D- end and their starting free safety (both Srs.) Late first qtr. the QB goes down (also a Sr) Now the backup FS moves to QB and the offense just was not crisp the rest of the way and a freshman was left at saftey to face Stredick and co. The Srs. are not back but the Birds have grown up. B Ports not even close. The ? is - how in the world did the Exporters beat Sealy. I haven't a clue.

Port was down 20-5 if i remember correctly...
field position and a couple of trick plays got them back in it, then a 6 minute drive to end the game..
