The Leps need to capture the focus they had in the 4th quarter against La Vernia and play it out the rest of the season. If they do that they will have a very good year. Keeping up the pressure the leps should get their second win against the Ducks. But they have to prove they can do it.

Maybe that win last week over LV was a big turning point for the Leopards. If they can build off that, I think La Grange wins going away this week. Could start to build momentum with a winning streak this week.

Game day. After three straight tough opponents I'd like to see the Leps oil up the gears and get their whole game broken in and running smoothly on all cylinders. Let's see what ya got.

Hello Pud. It's Duck season. Think you're Lep's will bag a few. 35-7 LaGrange.

It was 48-14 at the half so beginning in the third quarter coach began putting in the bench so by the end of the game everyone got significant game time. This was good for building team morale and strength in depth. I got a kick out of watching a senior backup middle linebacker pacing back and forth on the sideline just itching to get in the game. Well coach sent him in and he made 4 straight tackles. #32 Burton might be seeing a lot more from him this season.

It became clear running up the score was not the goal but getting this team to come together and gain momentum going forward was more important. Hats off to the Lep players and coaches. Next stop Lago Vista. The Vikings are another solid 3a D1 team so this match should be a good test for LG before district.
