This is going to be a much closer game than Sweeny will want. The Tigers have a strong passing game

Possible upset here. Tigers have a great passing game and a stout defense. They are playing their best football right now. They may be the best 4th place team in 4A both divisions.
If Smithville gets ahead they could be trouble for Sweeny! Get down a score or two and it will be over early, good luck to the Tigers.
Sweeny went 8-2???
Tigers have a mobile QB

Will this game be on the radio? It could be a very good game to see.
The problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other peoples' money.
Unless KVLG-KBUK carried it since La Grange is playing on a Thursday-I=ll call Gary Dusek and check with him
Common Tigers go for the win and get the sweep of D11.
Sweeny wins this one by three touchdowns
If Smithville wins, that would be a complete sweep of that district by ours in the playoffs.
GO BUFFS!
Yep, I had Giddings over Kashmere 48-0 so I was close! Smithville is no Kashmere and Sweeny will not win by 3 tds scrubby! The Bulldogs need to have the mindset of playing a team that would be a district champion in several R4 districts this year. The Tigers lost to LG and Bellville by only a wee blond one and beat Giddings by 30 points. [Giddings played that one without their star qb but since has bounced back and are rolling over their last two opponents (LG and Kashmere) proving their depth]. I think Smithville wins this one and Giddings goes to the R3 finals. Cheers
Smithville knocks off the D11 Champ to give D12 the sweep. I said earlier the Tigers were the best 4th place team in 4a and I think they proved it tonight. Congratulations to the Tigers and the Smithville coaches.
