Astros have done it again.....
great win
Worth noting that Hamels was scratched from tonight's start. Hope it's nothing serious - injuries suck.
The great news for Houston is they managed to win with their worst starter on the mound tonight and have already won at least 2/4 in a series where Keuchel won't pitch. Other good news is that it sounds like Collin McHugh might return soon. I expect to see Fiers out of the rotation at that point. He's been awful
Astros win game 3 10-1 and have a firm grip on the best record in baseball at 19-9.
Rangers fans awfully quiet
Hi my name is Firstdown and I'm a Rangers fan. I started when I was young maybe 10 or so, I've thought of quitting several times but I can't. Please if anyone knows of a group I could join to help me through this it would be greatly appreciated.
Looking like an Astros loss with two innings left-Relief pitching is faltering-Astro leaving runners in scoring position in two innings
Meh, 3/4 is good enough. Keuchel pitching tomorrow
I am a Rangers fan... prob always will be. The last 2 years have been fun to watch--this year not so much. Having arguably your best player (Beltre) not even having seen the field so far this year and now losing your number one starter (Hamels) for a couple of months along with the hugely disappointing flame outs of your closer (Dyson) and DH (Napoli) has made for a disappointing start. No sympathy expected. That's just how baseball go. Suspect we'll be active in the trade market and will be dangling some big names out there for bait (Darvish?)... it's still early but if things don't turn in the next 2-3 weeks it's going to be a very long year. Congrats to the Astros for a great start... even though it does seem like deja' vu from a couple years ago.
