I'm not at the game but I saw somewhere 6 personal fouls on Argyle so far and numerous reports of them being extremely dirty so far. Anyone at the game see anything or is it some homerism talk?

Most of the fans are just fans. They see 10 yds being marked off over and over again, and they think Argyle is playing dirty, when in reality our boyz are blocking downfield on offensive plays that are gaining lots of yards. The Monahans D is turning on many plays after the blocker made contact, and the refs are calling blocks in the back. These are not personal fouls, but are game changer calls. Monahans should be happy as a lark. They have 2 big plays the whole game offensively. That's it. Nothing else. Argyle has about 200 yds of offense negated, 100+ yds of penalties, and 200 yds of offense recorded. And Monahans is tied! Wow. You tell me if that sounds close. Or if these many penalties sounds right to you?

No dirt to it. The Monahans D is getting beat badly and turning their backs to draw flags. One Argyle player was pushed over onto a Monahans player after the play and they called a personal foul on Argyle. The only dirt is coming from the poor officiating. Argyle does not play or need to play dirty. These calls are almost unbelievable. Of course, Monahans is happy. I suspect in the 2nd half Argyle will just quit blocking downfield alltogether and let our skill players just do it on their own.

Not questioning you, but can you tell me what happened to have 6 personal fouls called on your team? You mentioned 1 in your above post. This should be an interesting second half.

Congrats to Tyler Chapel Hill. I bet they feel lucky. Alvarado was driving in the end and fumbled.

    Pretty good game.
