Score was 55-14.
Buffs had in 2nd and 3rd string during most of 2nd half.The problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other peoples' money.

It was amazing to see what a healthy Buffs team could do.
The weather was perfect. Field was mostly dry. Buff's just had things going their way tonight.
Smithville has some quality players on both sides of the ball. They were a great host. The people over there are so cordial.The problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other peoples' money.

i agree, i asked my friends and they said that 3 starters were in street clothes. #3 bradshaw a running back was sitting out for his 2nd or 3rd game, #5 everett a linebacker was still sitting out for his 3rd game, and #50 gonzales off linemen didnot suit out for this game. i happen to be at another location that night, i had a feeling that giddings would have little problems w/ smithville.
