    Default 3A Top Passers

Was thinking about doing something else on the top 25 thread and wound up with a top ten list. As far as I can tell, this is the most complete and up-to-date list anywhere. I couldn't find info on a few areas (deep East Texas, parts of West Texas), though, so no guarantees that this is the complete list.

If you know of anyone else who belongs in the top ten, please post them along with stats..

    1. Brian Bell/China Spring
    179-264 (67.8%) 2,586 25-4

    2. Case McCoy/Graham
    134-217 (61.8%) 2,310 26-6

    3. Chance Wallace/Canton
    183-290 (63.1%) 2,299 20-9

    4. Josh Harrison/Sinton
    134-216 (62.0%) 2,092 26-6

    5. Stump Godfrey/Gilmer
    145-201 (72.1%) 2,075 26-3

    6. Steven Dorman/Somerset
    129-231 (55.84%) 2,066 22-10

    7. Josh Schneider/LaGrange
    145-242 (59.9%) 2,034 24-5

    8. Johnny Esparza/Lyford
138-283 (48.8%) 2,033 23-(???at least 9 INT, but we don't have the numbers for the Progreso game)

    9. Chris Burge/Van Alstyne
    102-166 (61.4%) 1,833 18-7

    10. Cole DeBerry/Huffman-Hargrave

Thanks for the list. I always enjoy reading the stuff you put together. One correction, though: the QB from Somerset is Steven Dorman, not Dorset.

My bad. It's too late to edit, but maybe one of the mods can get that fixed for us.

I saw the Bell kid the other night.... He throws it well but why does his DAD leave him in the game when things are WAY out of hand? I think he throw for almost 500 yards and was in the game with less than 2 minutes to go ahead by almost 50.

    STAT PUMPER!!!!
    Boog.... just pick it

I love watching that kid play. He's a natural for the position. Probably the best you've had since Adrian, and those are probably the two best you've had for some time now. At least as far back as I can remember.

Who is he and what are his stats? The only major player I knew of that I missed was Silsbee's Jeremy Johnson... who may or may not have the passing yardage. Did I miss someone else?

What makes you believe this is true? I have no dog in the fight, but if the stats don't show up in the top 10, then what makes him the best? What schools are looking at him?

he lacks stats because he was injured for most games. He committed to UTSA and is expected to start his true freshman year or redshirt freshman year. Its a shame because he threw up amazing stats last year with most skill players coming back minus cole hicks.
