Default Greatest 3A Team of All Time

What is your pick? My pick would have to be the 1983 Daingerfield Tigers. Carthage, which was 4A then, was the only team to score any offensive points on them all year.

P.S. Carthage made it to the 4A Semi-final game that same year.

Actually, they were the only team to score any points on them, I believe, and they weren't offensive points. They came from an interception return for a TD, then D'field promptly blocked the extra point.

This has been debated too many times, someone go dig up the old thread and post on that.

Now if you think one of those teams was the absolute best ever, then okay.

I can't argue that any team but 83 Daingerfield was the best ever...don't know how anyone could really.

I was 7 years old and don't remember a thing as well. I'm sure only the old timers here that lived in East Texas would have actually seen them play..

Carroll '92, Pittsburg '80, Friendswood '73 and Denver City '60 were quite impressive as well (2A=3A prior to 1980)

It would have to come from one of the following unless someone can convince me the Greatest 3A Team of All-Time didn't win a state title...
