    I know how I got the focus. I don't know what caused the lighting effect on the rest

    I thought Silimea's colors were orange and white......that looks more like New York Taxi yellow.

    outstanding, wife and i use nikon too, she's looking to either get 2 d300's or a 700 sometime after the new year, i go old school and shoot with a d70

    the shot was taken on aperture priority with the iso @ 6400, what's amazing is that the d700 can handle such high iso levels with little to no noise in the picture. my d70 would have tons of noise if it could even shoot at 6400 iso

    No doubt the D700/D3 chip rocks low light. What I can't figure is the ghosting around the players combined with th clarity of the ref. Probably could not duplicate on a bet.
