I'll try to get some field cam pics up on here of some 2 year olds out in the pasture.

We've only owned this place 2 years. This is our second deer season. Last season we applied for the MLD Permits, so we wiped out every native deer on the place minus a couple lucky ones that escaped. So this year there really isn't much to kill. I downed a doe 2 weeks ago but that's about it. The oldest deer in the pasture are 2, but they don't look like 2 year olds

I'll go through em all and find a couple good ones.

I've also got a couple of game cam shots from up at my family's property. I'll put up some pics soon. Our pigs have disappeared for some reason....I suspect because of all of the acorns down in the bottom. Once those rot away and/or all eaten up, I expect them to return to the feeder. We've got a buncha young deer as well. One 8pt that looks like he'll be a nice one in another year or two.

Is anyone planning on any quail hunts this weekend? I think I may go out and try, the last week of dove season I saw more quail than dove so why not.

Here in North Texas our quail populations continue to dwindle.

You sorry dog!!! All I saw was coons....and a small buck and a couple of does....but the deer didn't show up till well after sundown.
