Default Prosper Complete 11-man Football History

Just an FYI for those interested... here is the complete game history of Prosper in 11-man games. Prior to 1964 they competed in 8-man and 6-man football for several years. What happened between 1983 and 1984? It looks like the program had a complete meltdown. They had 14 consecutive losing seasons from 1984-1997, winning a total of only 30 games over that period of time.

My thoughts also Rabin Cougar. Congrats to Prosper on getting over the "Celina hump" last year. Man, 1984,85,86,87 were some TOUGH times in Prosper.

ya prosper had some rough years, but last years senior class changed that. now times are changing big time, this year almost every grade level beat Celina. Its funny how two programs can almost become complete opposites in just a few years, it looks like every move-in athlete wants to be a part of the up and coming Prosper football team, Celina is rapidly losing their athletes and in 10 years Celina will look like that old Prosper team of years ago.

That may be true for a couple of years. But after that Prosper will be 4A and will probably go 5A long before Celina reaches the top of 3A, unless Prosper opens a second high school before that.

Celina still has plenty of athletes and plenty of move-ins. In a few years they'll just add Prosper to the list of 4As and 5As they're drawing them from and it'll be business as usual.
    24 down ... 24 to go.
