We are at the halfway mark with each team having 7 more tough district games and the standings are:
1. Sinton at 6 - 1
2- 4 Tie between Ingleside, Robstown and Falfurrias all at 5 - 2
5. Aransas Pass at 4 - 3
6. Mathis at 2 - 5
7. Orange Grove at 1 - 7
8. West Oso at 0 - 7
Right now Nos. 1 - 5 are fighing it out for the three playoff places. And with as many one or two point games that we have any of those teams have a chance to make it to the playoffs.
As I mentioned before Mathis, Orange Grove and West Oso are capable of beating anyone on any given day. West Oso gave Sinton a scare and we were lucky to get away with a 4 - 2 win.
This Friday are a couple of showdown games this Friday with Ingleside at Sinton and Falfurrias at Robstown.
