This boy is not the most athletic kid or strong kid. He is just tall and has a huge frame and heart. He wants his body to perform at a varsity level, but he can't make it do it. He knows he is not there yet and so do I. His words; "Dad I can start at some of those other schools, but at (random school), I will be the best I can be. I may never start on varsity, but I will know I gave it my best." Soon to be an after-school special.

If memory serves me correctly, this poll has not changed over the last 3 weeks. 1-20 has not changed.

Also, Hardin-Jefferson district record is 6-1, not 5-2.
I have forgotten as much as I have remembered, so where does that leave me?

Our girls are really hitting their stride in district play! Good to see them doing well again.

i dont think sweenys record is correct on the poll. they should be 4-3 in district. stafford is 7-0 and needville is 5-2, royal is 3-4, and west columbia is 2-5. wharton is out of the hunt all together with an 0-7 record. but even with two top ten teams in the state it still looks like that district is not set as of yet other than stafford. needville at sweeny tonight and royal at west columbia. couple of scenerios there that coudl make some chacnges in the district.

Robinson girls are playing well. They expect to be in Austin in March. I have seen posters in town that show them standing as a team next to I-35 South signs near the interstate. Good luck. I hope they have not gotten the cart before the horse. I like the "one game at a time" mentality myself.

Do Krum and Ponder have football programs? When I played BBall we always met Krum in the first or second round and get spanked but they didnt have a football program.

They just voted to add football programs this year.

No WF Hirschi in the top 20? Didn't they just beat previously #2 Burkburnett? Just thought that they might have cracked the top 20 with a signature win like that and a pretty decent record.

District 17 18 and 19 have the 1 3 and 4 teams in the state might not be a good thing for us to be district 20.

If that's not a sign that the NBA needs to retract then I don't know what is.
