After the loss of both of his coordinators it should have been easy to see that the writing was on the wall that he was looking to leave.

As a longtime Steve Freeman supporter, I hated this happening, but also knew it was probably gonna happen, too many big wigs wanted him to leave, best wishes to Coach Freeman in what endeavors he goes into.

still coaches and Barnes...who
just recently retired a few years ago. But
they both stuck it out through three
different HCs.

With that said, I have no idea. I would believe that the timing of this would be so Brownwood has the ability to start looking for a coach early in the hunt and not get in the same situation Breckenridge got in last year.
Personaly I hope they hire from within. We have several awesome coaches who could do a great job for Brownwood.
