I thought Gonzales might struggle. The Franklin kid is very good for Goliad.

    Any stats on this one?

IMO, Gonzales will NOT beat Cuero or Yoakum. They would need to win at least one of those games and Palacios and get some help, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

I bet the coach at Gonzales is catching grief>>> Imagine if Cuero would have to forfeit a district game, the big green fans would tar and feather the coach<<<<

ok, I've missed an entire week - what forfeit for Gonzales?

Isn't it strange that after a bombing everyone blames the Crazy Azz bomber(s), but after a shooting the problem is the gun?

I found the thread about 5 pages back - seems the Apaches played someone who wasn't eligible and had to forfeit the win over Edna

Their coach checked grades on Wednesday and everyone was okay. When grades came out on Friday afternoon he was busy with game preparation and a teacher had changed a grade of one kid to failing. The coach turned himself in when he found about it on Monday last week. He is young. I bet it never happens again.

Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
