    Arrow Playstation 3 Gamer Question

    ok, so i keep noticing info on the internet about patches for games....for example NCAA '09 has a patch or two available...question is how do i get these patches, does the playstation automatically download them for me or what? i keep trying to google this and i never can find anything that can help me...i know sometimes some games wont run until you download an update is that a patch or just an update to the playstation? thanks in advance...

    I'm still stuck in the dark ages w/ a 360. My advice would be to do some research.....google, perhaps the main Playstation 3 website?

    When you turn the PS3 on or put the game in it should update it automatically for you. You can also go to the System Update in the settings.

    with my experiences with the ps3 (only had it since June) you have to download it before you can play the game

    ok thats what i thought, it doesnt tell you ifyour downloading a patch though..just an update and i was never sure if it was a ps3 update or a game update...
