My father's house is 1 blk from the high school/stadium. He can hear the bands and the announcers for all home games/events. The noise doesn't bother him and it didn't bother me when I lived there.

About 1/4 mile as the crow flies. Why do you ask?

If you were in your back yard eating Blue bell, and also watching your High School teams Marching Band play during halftime of a DQ game of the week?

Plus we never had any trouble finding a parking spot.

I live 2 blocks from Lumberjack Stadium, can hear the announcer/fans cheer when team scores/band. I walk to games instead of wasting time to find parking spot.

I live about 4 blocks from the stadium. I can hear when someone scores, I can here Sinton's band(opposing band faces other direction from my house), and I can hear the announcer sometimes.

Is this thread considered sports related?

My buddy can look out his front door and see underneath the visitors stands. you can sit in the neigbors yard and watch the whole game.

Yes but the thread pertains to living near one. It really has nothing to do about sports itself, which in my mind makes it non-sports related. It belongs in the other forum.

How about two blocks to the field for the big boys and my little boys....... NOt a bad deal. Eat supper and walk to the game.

Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis

I remember playing in Snyder and seeing people sitting on their roofs watching the game!

When I lived at home, we lived across the creek from Brule Field in Navasota. I could stand on the burm and see all but the southeast corner of the field.
