I picked up the paper and here is what I read-Wills Point 20 Lindale 7, Gladewater over Daingerfield, Waco Univ. 31,over Marlin 7, Longview Pine Tree over Paris N. Lamar 24-7. Now these are some of the teams(Marlin,Lindale,Daingerfield, Paris North Lamar) that the Pollisters have salivated over-that got beat! Was this a fluke or are these unheralded teams just better than the darlings of the Polls?

Old Card, the polls are wrong. These teams are not as good as rated and others are better.

NL looks overrated. They don't have the personel to run the same high-powered offense that they did last year.
