Some guy just called up here trying to talk to my boss about "supplemental insurance"....I don't have to ask my boss if he wants to talk to him, I KNOW he doesn't.
The man said that normally if he can get past the "filter" that the person is usually interested in what he has to say.
I have now been reduced to a "filter!"

In marketing terms, its called the 'gatekeeper.' All sales reps know about these people. Its actually a quite powerful position! Feel proud!
