Vacation!

I'm actually going on my first extended vacation in quite some time today. I don't have to be back to work until the day after Memorial Day (5/27). The last 6 months I've probably worked harder than I ever have in my life, and it's time for some major stress-free living. The best part is I'm just winging it: no schedule to follow, no appointments to keep, none of that stuff. I know I'm going to Corpus this weekend to hang out with Dad and watch Calallen play Robstown in the baseball playoffs. Other than that it's all wide open.

Of course I'm sure I'll make time to head over to Sinton and heckle Rita while she's working. I couldn't pass that up.

So until I return, all of you fine folks be safe and have a great Memorial Day weekend. I'll be back re-energized and ready for more Downlow shenanigans in about 10 days.
