He was this year as a assistant at Brazos

Was also assistant at Sealy and Needville I thin k

Coach at Royal back some times in the 90s

What happened to the current head coach? Came to Royal from Somerville and was in his first year...

I understand the coaches used a school vehicle to attend a coaches clinic and drinking took place in the vehicle. School officials were tipped off about the incident and the head coach and possibly some of the assistants lost their jobs.
Walthall was there before and got the Falcons to the state championship game a few years back. He lives near Brookshire, so the family will not have to make a move. He's a solid coach, very big on discipline and will do a good job. Brookshire also has some outstanding athletes. They have a big new housing addition along with a new high school about to be completed.
It could be a very good situation for both Walthall and Royal.

Is this the same guy that was working in a T-shirt print shop in sealy?

No. You must be talking about Coach Weber. He used to coach at Royal with Walthall and later coached in Sealy. He is from Sealy and now coaches at Brazos. Both are very good track coaches. Weber worked worked for the printing outfit for a time.
