    Default D23 Baseball District Start Tonight

    Smithville is at Bellville tonight. Bellville is 8 - 6 overall this year. They can't seem to get the bats going. I heard that Smithville has a pretty good pitcher. If he's on, things may be close. Bellville's pitching and defense has been solid, however, and kept them in most of the games they lost till the end.

    I wouldn't count on Smithville to do anything athletically

    WP Tallerine(5-1)
    Tallerine threw a 1 hit shutout. 13 K's

    Bellville hit the ball well, but still left a lot of runners on. Good start for the Bulls.

Scott Ofczarzak throws 2.1 innings of solid relief to get the win.
