Congrats to the Brahmas on a great tournament. With no disrespect, what has happened to the field of this tournament? This used to be a prestigious event and now it looks like there are no good teams in the field.

The tournament is so late that many teams have had to drop out because they have already started district. If you have an 8 team district then they started district this past week. The same thing happened last year. After having the La Grange Tournament rain out last week, Bellville just needed to get in some games before our district starts this week on Thursday.

Way to go, Bulls! Weimar was always my favorite tourney. Glad our hitting has come around--just in time, too. Best of luck in the season, Brahmas!

There were only 4 teams in the tournament.
Bellville, St. Josephs, Yoakum and Sacred Hearts.

i partially agree with you. the tourny used to be alot tougher. i remember when the tourny used to be filled with nothing but top ranked teams. usually their would always be a state champion that would play in that tourny. whether it is 1a,2a,3a, or 4a.
