STATE FOOTBALL TROPHYS

The subject of State Football Trophys that are in your schools trophy case came up on another thread. It really got my curosity up and after a little research I decided it would be fun to try to get everyone to list their schools state football trophys here, say from Regional on up to State Champion. As you list them, please list only FOOTBALL, and specify what class (2A, 3A, ect.) and Division (1 or 2 or pre Division) and the year they were won. This will probably take some research for some of you, the UIL site and Dave Cambell's site are helpfull. Gobbla, if your out there, please warn us before you post on this subject, so we can put our sunglasses on. Cuero's football trophy case has got to be blinding!

These each represent a football trophy in your schools trophy room. This is just for fun guys. There are some schools out there that must have incredible football trophy rooms, but every team that advances in the play offs has trophys.

I'm not sure about Regional, etc., but at Sealy we have the following for sure:
1978 State Champion (2A)
1994 State Champion (3A)
1995 State Champion (3A)
1996 State Champion (3A)
1997 State Champion (3A)
1999 Runner-Up (3A)
Regionals for each championship/runnerup year.

Also 1977 Track State Champion (2A) and a couple of Volleyball runner-ups. The state championship trophies are not as impressive as the footballs for regionals, IMHO.

Marlinfan, I know you have some this year, your team got a trophy every time they advanced in the playoffs. Basicly this is a chance to list your state football trophys from regional on up. Kind of like showing us your trophy room. Football only please.

You said Region and beyond. There are trophys for winning district, bi-district, and area. But some of us would need two pages to list all of those.
