McGregor vs. China Spring

It looks like McGregor will roll. What's up with China Spring this year? On a down year?
Usually they are very competitive and perennial playoff team.

I don't think China Spring is really on a down year. The Cougars did suffer losing QB Shawn Bell, who is now playing at Baylor, but I believe they will still be a playoff team. They began their season with a tough loss to Cameron, but they rebounded by beating Glen Rose, 40-8 last week. I still think McGregor is too tough and China Spring, Gatesville and all the other District 17-AAA teams are lucky they moved to Class AA. I would pick McGregor by two touchdowns at least.

I dont see any team slowing down McGregor...unless you learn how to get inside their heads. That has always been the key to beating the dawgs. Every team has a weakness and McGregors is all upstairs. Jumo on em early and they are through but I dont think China quite has the power to put a halt in anything the dawgs have to offer.

McGregor by 21 sounds good. I think the dogs will roll. They were set to be very competetive in 3A this year. The move down should do nothing but help. As long as Coach Haynes and his son are there Mcgregor will be tough. Not to take anything away from China Springs, McGregor will roll over lots of people before this year is over.
