Wow...Thats surprising...Maybe Canyon isn't as good as everyone thought they were going to be.

One thing people forget... back in the 80's and early 90's WF Hirschi was a perennial playoff team in 4A. They were going two and three rounds deep with consistency. They've had the athletes there, and this new Coach (Searcy) is making it happen.Originally posted by wildstangs

Funny thing is that he is from Gainesville, grew up there. He applied for the Gainesville job and didn't get it. Wound up with the Hirschi job and look what he's done. Think Gainesville, who went 1-9 this year, aren't kicking themselves for hiring this guy?
Hirschi had a 28 game losing streak coming into this year.

Hirschi had the longest streak in the state in the early 90's or so with consecutive playoff appearances.

I have read how district 6 is weak on several posts and or polls. Not so fast. Graham and Vernon both have good teams.

good job Eagles. Wylie and Canyon meeting in the playoffs is becoming habit. Man i hate goign to Lowery. I am sure that is where it will be though.
