for example a nose tackle and the right tackle -- the NT angles to the right and the tackle hesitates slightly and lets the NT go in front then rushed where the NT was -- they sort of make an X instead of rushing straight aheadd -- its supposed to confuse the offensive lineman --------- thats very simplistic but you get the idea

So is a stunt related to a blitz or are the two sepearte?

It is generally when a specific defensive player switches responsibilities with another position, say for example a defensive end stunts through the B gap and the OLB takes fill out the outside. It's just a planned role switch between defensive players.

Yea, basically, BBDE hit it right on the nose. the nose goes B gap and the tackle goes A, etc. can be any of the front 7 switching gaps to throw off the line
