Default DQ Big Game of the Week: GP at Beeville

Dang it. They should have picked Calallen-Flour Bluff.

Anyway, I just wanted to let all you Region 4ers know that FSN will be down in Beeville on Friday.

The last time they were in the Corpus area was 2004 for the Calallen at GP game. GP won, 15-8, after scoring 15 unanswered points in the final 6 minutes of the game.

One more thing: GO CATS...The maroon and red and blue variety.

Good, because the crew we had last week was lousy.

Perhaps they use the P.O.O.H. method.

That would explain it. Somewhere in our great state there has got to be a better football game. I mean it's GP.

DQ sponsers it. Most DQs also give away free schwag while the crew is there filming. I hope ours does the same.

I think FSN actually donated an HDTV to the Portland DQ...at least I think that's how that monstrous thing that's always tuned to Disney got there.

DQ put an ad in the paper today for the festivities. $1.99 Hunger Buster combos and $0.99 Blizzards! They're going to stay open 'til 1:30 as they'll be hosting a viewing for the Scoreboard Live show. Its gonna be a fun day in Beeville. After that, we can all go to our brand spankin' new Super Wal-Mart that opened up today!

Just a reminder, if any of you guys plan on making the trip to Beeville, we'll be having a little 4asports Meet and Greet at Jake's All-American BBQ. We'll be gathering at about 5:45 for some steak, beer, and smack-talk before the big game.

This is definitely the game of the week, for the CC area at least. Calallen is gonna blow through the Bluff this year, so I really don't consider that one much of a game.

For a $1.99 Hungerbuster meal and $0.99 Blizzard, I might be headed to Beeville on Friday.
