Default The time I went to Mexico.

I was about 12 years old and my father and I left Freer to Laredo and parked on the USA side and walked over the bridge into Nuevo Laredo in Mexico. The Rio Grande was awesome that year. We went and looked around the market near the border. My father knew the area well since he had lived in Laredo while working for the Immigration Services. We then walked to a poorer but respectable part of time where my father said we could buy things cheaper. He brough a few household items such as a broom, mop etc. Then we went back to the border and crossed the Rio Grande River. We then got into our car. Within about ten minutes we were on Highway 44 heading west back to Freer as Laredo disappeared into our rear view mirror.

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. Phil is PhiI is Bill is the compassion police. He is also the Sinton Matador. Some call him the Sinton Prophet. {Also Captain Obvious. } BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR! He's going for the Corner - he's got it! Roy Orbison rules.
