Wow Fredericksburg was a lot better than us Bandera fans imagined, they are now 3-0. They really picked on our secondary which was without our starting corner Jessie Sierra. Bandera's offense did look solid, Dustin Heep ran for over 100 yards on only 14 carries, but Brett Hicks was simply amazing. He totalled 332 total yards and 3 TDs. Bandera will be fine, they were 0-2 last year, so they are perennially slow starters. I wouldn't worry about Bandera, they still have to be a favorite in Region IV D2.

Bandera is over rated!!! They are not as good as everyone says they are. Come on if your ranked #33 in the state for 3A and you lose to Fredricksburg what is that saying. Yes Bandera is good but not OUTSTANDING. They have a pretty good QB but that's about it. Heep ran for 100+ yards, so what many guys do that constantly, and remember he's doing it against unranked teams. Wait untill you play a top 50 team and he gets like 25 or 50 yards. I'm not trashing Bandera, I believe they are truly a good solid team I just don't think they have what it takes to win Region, because they have too many turnovers. With that said I'm OUT!!!
