I picked Columbus, because it's the only one I'm sure I've been to.

I don't know much about football there, but one of the fastest guys I ever saw was from Needville. I was in Austin at the state track meet in 1981 when Anthony Ray Ketchum ran a national record 45.5 in the 400m. Man! That was an impressive run!

    West Columbia - Damn good
Wharton - Athletes Athletes Athletes, that always makes them dangerous
Needville - They have been good at times and looks like they're coming back around
Sweeny - an improving team, watch out for them
Stafford - I hear they'll be good, I'll let you know what else I think after we play them
Sealy - They have some good athletes returning, I think as of right now they're a darkhorse in this district
Brookshire Royal - Don't let them being a 2A move-up fool you, they're back on track and they have 3A numbers now
Columbus - I have no clue, they won a lot of games in the 90's, have no clue about this year...

I can't vote now, but I will say this is going to be a pretty tough district...

hhmm I'm thinking it will be between Needville and West Columbia - what team in the District would be the Div 1 team?

Isn't it strange that after a bombing everyone blames the Crazy Azz bomber(s), but after a shooting the problem is the gun?

I think Sweeny will be there. They had a lot of underclassmen last year.

    west columbia......

    wharton.......

    needville........

now, it's up to the junior/soph classes to fill in the gaps.....

watch out for needville in two to three years......they are stacking talent at the subvarsity levels.....
