    I'm hearing some second-hand scuttlebutt reportedly from the Horns site that the Yankees are VERY interested in Alaniz and are frantically trying to reach a deal with the Cards for the rights to him. I don't have the link info yet, but should have it by tonight sometime.

    I dont think they care if there farm teams are good. There more worried about winning where it counts in the big leagues.
