cheap gas

this morning in corpus christi gas was 12.6 cents a gallon at one HEB store. it was only to the first 200 cars in line. CP&L was doing this as a promo for its 12.6% rate cut.

i heard there was a 20 gal. max.
i was in town about 6:45 this morn, but the lines were way too long to save 10 or so dollars. i already was halfway full.

they were having a special promo called 2.90 a gallon.

We had that promo down here in the valley a few days ago...it was 11 cents down here for the first 200 customers.

Probably the ones who got the cheap gas weren't even regular customers.
