    Default Where is Homer Bailey

Have not seen any stats for the past week in Florida League.

They moved him up to Double A Chattanooga.

Won his 1st outing on 6/22.

Looks as though this is a much better team.

he only has that one outing in AA so far.

    IP - 6
    H - 5
    ER - 0
    K - 7
    BB - 0

it looks like he would be starting tonight as he has not pitched since June 22 so he would be working on the standard 4 days rest.

    6/27

Homer Bailey was stellar on the mound for Chattanooga going six scoreless no hit innings. Chattanooga scored the games first run in the 5th. Rick Asadoorian walked and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Luis Bolivar, and then third when Miguel Perez reached on an infield single. Javon Moran fouled off five two strike pitches then singled to left scoring the run. Carlos Alvarado pitched a 1-2-3 7th inning for Chattanooga. Aaron Herr doubled in three run with the bases loaded giving the Lookouts a 4-0 lead in the 8th. Rick Asadoorian doubled in the innings fourth run. Chattanooga scored six in the 8th taking a 7-0 lead. Brock Till retired the Stars in order in the 8th. David Shafer yielded the Stars only run and hit in the 9th. Callix Crabbe hit a solo homerun to right to break up the Lookouts

This is the 3rd time he has no-hit the opposition in his 6 innings of work this season.

Forney's Zach Segovia has overcome arm surgery and is doing well. he started the year at Clearwater, FL (A) and is now in Reading, PA (AA).

    Clearwater: 5-1, 2.19 ERA, 41 Ks in 49 innings, 1.04 HWIP
    Reading: 3-4, 4.01 ERA, 35 Ks in 51 innings, 1.09 HWIP

HWIP - hits & walks per innings pitched, anything around 1 is outstanding
