That is the actual headline on caller.com. Here is the rest of the story!
Man suspected of mailing severed finger to ex-girlfriend

    June 26, 2006

Corpus Christi Police have not been able to locate a man they believe mailed his severed finger to an ex-girlfriend Friday.

CCPD believe the man left Corpus Christi for Spring last week after his ex-girlfriend was granted an emergency protective order against him.

Police notified authorities in Spring about the incident, but the man, believed to be in his 30s, has not yet been found.
The ex-girlfriend, also in her 30s, received the package Friday.

Inside the package was a letter and a ring box containing the finger.

The man, who was facing one charge of domestic violence assault stemming from an incident earlier this month, will now likely face another charge, police said Monday afternoon.
