The houston paper said that Stafford had 550 yards rushing on 48 carries which i belive is alittle over 11 yards per rush. Is that true or did the paper mess up?

Didn't see the paper this morning, but the website's boxscore showed 550 yards on 48 carries. www.houstonchronicle.com

I got slam dunked on this board recently for saying Stafford will have a much improved season. It's a big enrollment school and the Coaches are getting the boys with potential out for football. Hitchcock dropped down from 3A and are picked to win 27-2A. They are a worthy opponent! Brian Lilly carried the ball on just nine scampers for 204 yards and 3 long TD's. George Okpowen gained 200 yards on 24 lugs....I think that if they are able to put a little passing attack together; and learn to play better defense, that Bellville and Sealy will quite laughing at their program.
