    Default Wild finish in Kaufman ...

    Kaufman - 24 Crandall - 23

    KAUFMAN – Kaufman, in a wild finish, defeated Crandall 26-24 in a key district game.
    Crandall scored with 1:08 left in the game, giving them a 23-22 lead. The two-point conversion pass was intercepted and returned 95 yards by Kaufman's Sam Redmon giving Kaufman a 24-23 victory.
    Kaufman built a 22-10 third quarter lead when Crandall quarterback Colton Kvapil connected with Zach Ragsdale from 25 yards out making the score 22-17. Crandall then blocked a field goal on Kaufman's next possession and took over on their own 42 yard line with 4:25 left in the game. Kvapil capped off a nine-play drive with a 2-yard run giving Crandall a one point lead, 23-22.

    Man that just goes to show in the last minute if you score and have a one point lead then just try to run for the extra two points or maybe just fall on the ball. A two point lead isn't a safe lead anyway because whether you are one or two points the other team can win with a field goal. What a wierd ending.
