NCAA Regional Action Today

Waco Regional:
Baylor beats UTSA 8-3
TCU beats Stanford 5-1

Austin Regional:
UT looses to Arkansas 9-2

Baton Rouge Regional:
Rice beats LSU 9-7

I think that is all the Texas teams in action today...Rice was an upset but not too shocking to me, even though its in Baton Rouge...Rice is has a good team....Arkansas shocked Texas big time in Austin tonight especially since Arkansas is having a down year....However, Texas does have their number 2 and 3 pitchers left to try to win their regional..it will be tuff but not impossible, they should beat Miami (ohio) and then ahve to beat Arkansas twice....Baylor's regional was jsut the first round today due to rain yesterday...They play TCU tomorrow whose ace had a great game today against Stanford...glad he pitched to them and not us....

Oh yah a score of interest, in the Austin Regional Quinnipac who was beaten 20-2 yesterday by UT was beaten 35-8 today by Miami (Ohio)....i think i have never seen 35 runs scored in a baseball game.....between the two teams there was 50 hits, 32 by Miami and 18 by Quinnipac, do they not have any pitching at all in Quinnipac where ever that is??
