Default Columbus vs Bridge City and Lorena vs Lufkin Hudson

Well the final 4 in Region III are all good teams again. I see the winner again this year winning the State Championship. Of course all four teams have advanced because of excellent pitching and hitting skills. Again it will be a matter of which teams can hit good pitching on that particular series of ball games. The winners at this level should put on quite a show in the Region III final game.

I would really like to see Hudson and Lorena. Sounds like a good matchup in Region III.
Bridge City has been consistent all year long and they seem to have the higher ranking over Columbus.
Bridge City in 2 games over Columbus.
Lufkin Hudson in 3 games over Lorena.

These four teams look so balanced on paper that it may come down to the team that knocks the most home runs in the two levels of games to be left to take Region III. I see no clear favorite at this level of play they are all exceptional.

Hudson can't swing it as well as BC... Don't know anything about the other 2.

BC bats are Hot,Hot, Hot!!! Everyone in the lineup is batting at least .300!! In game 1 against Orangefield, Darrell Stevens hit a triple,a grand slam, and a home run.

It depends also on whether they walk Hornung. He will eventually kill you with his bat.

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. Phil is PhiI is Bill is the compassion police. He is also the Sinton Matador. Some call him the Sinton Prophet. {Also Captain Obvious. } BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR! He's going for the Corner - he's got it! Roy Orbison rules.

I bet that Lufkin-Hudson wins over Lorena. I saw Hudson run over us at Barbers Hill in 2 games and we were pretty good. Hudson's #1 pitcher throws in the 90's & the #2 guy in the high 80's. But I haven't seen Lorena play so I may be wrong.
