Default UT plays for National Championship!

In Women's Tennis tomorrow (Sunday) at noon against Stanford. The Texas women have done a remarkable job no matter what happens. Of 16 teams in the tournament Texas was the No. 11 seed and had to start off by beating No. 6 seed GA Tech 4 to 3. Then they had to beat Kentucky who was seeded no. 3 by the score of 4 to 2. Then today they beat #2 Florida 4 - 3. Stanford is No. 1 and has a perfect 26 - 0 record but maybe our ladies can pull it off. No matter what it has been a great season ladies. GO LADY HORNS! BEAT STANFORD!

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. Phil is PhiI is Bill is the compassion police. He is also the Sinton Matador. Some call him the Sinton Prophet. {Also Captain Obvious. } BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR! He's going for the Corner - he's got it! Roy Orbison rules.

Lady Horns fall to Stanford 4 to 0 but still a great season as they are runner ups. It would have been nice to have won it all but still not bad for a No. 11 seeded team. Way to go Lady Horns!

glad to see the Women's tennis back on top. Ever since Coach Snyder left a few years ago, both tennis programs have really dropped off. Hopefully, the men can turn it around in the next few years as well.
