The Rockdale Lady Tiger Softball team advances to the next round of the playoffs. In the best of 3 series, the Lady Tigers defeated China Spring 6-0 last night, and 2-1 this afternoon.

The Rockdale vs Splendora game should be a dozy. I have seen Cassie Anderson pitch for Montgomery County Elite Gold select team and also for the Splendora High School when they beat Barbers Hill. Tell us about Rockdale's Pitching staff?

We have two very talented pitchers in Sammie Meyer and Laura Baker. Sammie can move the ball better than Laura can, but it looks like Laura can throw it harder than Sammie. They're both very talented and are supported by good infielders and outfielders. They've came a long way since last year and are a solid team.
