Default Manuel Johnson wins long jump

Manuel Johnson of Gilmer took gold in the long jump with a jump of 24-01. Second place was a full foot behind him. Congrats to a terrific student athlete. MJ will be competing in the long jump later this afternoon.

Thanks for the update. We had our sports awards yesterday at Lake Corpus Christi State park and those two were of the very few athletes that didn't make it out there. Great weather, everyone had a great time. Good food, sirloin on the grill ummmm. The AD left about half hour later to Austin, going to miss opener of Baseball playoff at Aviator Field but will be back tomorrow for game two at Whataburger field.

Maybe if you didn't try to be so clever, you wouldn't end up looking so stupid.
