Manuel Johnson from Gilmer won region II in the long and triple jump. His long jump was 23'10 1/2 and his triple jump was 47'04. He won both by nearly a foot. He finished third in the 100m by only .05 seconds.. Tatum finished first as a team with Atlanta second.. should be and exciting weekend.

Leslie Starnes in the Girl's Pole Vault. She has a personal best of 12', and has been to State, placing 2nd the last two years. Maybe she can pull out a 12'6" vault and win it this year.
