Hey so i sent a random email to Dr. Gates to see if we could have lunch, and his personal assistant called me back and said that he doesn't have time to have lunches with students til the fall, but that i could come by tomorrow in a fifteen minute window he has and meet him

so i just went to meet Dr. Gates, he's super nice, it's kind of cool becauase you hear his voice in a lot of videos and then hear it in person...we talked about the view of his office which is gorgeous, he asked about my possible transfer, my hall i live at, my major, it was very cool and personable

nah i wasn't going to be talking about that in my 20 minutes with him
