- LA GRANGE BEATS RICE IN GAME 2 TO ADVANCE
Mandi Bertsch picked up her 2nd win in two days allowing only 2 hits and striking out 6 versus Rice in Game 2 of the best of 2 out of 3 series. Bertsch also led the way offensively for a 3 for 4 performance at the plate with a double. Kimmy Lee was also 3 for 4 with a double and a triple and Jaime Mutschink and Lauryn Berger were 2 for 4, Mutschink with a triple and Berger with a double. The Lady Leps now advance to the Area round of playoffs with their next opponent being Groesbeck

LaGrange is at it again! Congrats! I remember some good softball between BC and LG several years ago. Is that Lady Coach that takes all the wild chances still the Coach of SB? Hope to see you on down the road-- that would mean we both survived a torrid Region III !!!
