SOFTBALL - Wharton vs. Liberty Hill

Game is set for 7 pm Friday in Brenham. Looking at the stats 18 Handicap has for Liberty Hill they scored 129 runs in their first 9 district games while giving up only 12. They are ranked #4 in the state. I hope they go easy on us. Those are impressive numbers.

Don't worry RRD....i'm almost positive the lady tigers will do well. I think we finally know what it takes to start winning ball games, and to play like a team.


If we go out there and play like we have the last 2 weeks, then it will be a great ballgame!

they have a game there. i bet both head coaches are PO'd pretty good and scrambling big time.

Wharton and Liberty Hill will play in Bastrop @ 7pm on Friday.
LH got beat by Elgin 10-0 tonight. OK, I know something is rotten here. I know Elgin is good, but come on. LH comes out 1st from their district, is ranked 4th in the state, and gets run ruled in a warm up game? I feel like one of the following scenerios must have happened:
1 . Aliens took over the LH bus and were lucky to even find Elgin.
2. The coaches found out that the Wharton scouts were in the stands and told their kids to "just go and have some fun".
3. LH had a horrible game, Elgin had a career game, and LH is now going to be really fired up for their game firday night.

Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter, the girls will settle this Firday night. I'm hoping for a well played game with no injuries. See ya in Bastrop!

Whoa i can't believe it--i expected to hear that LH won....
all i can say is i hope we play together and beat them too!!
